Kapuso star Barbie Forteza took to Instagram to share that she's registered to vote and encouraged her followers to do the same

Kapuso star Barbie Forteza is taking her civic responsibilities seriously.

The Kapuso star posted on her Instagram account to declare that she had successfully registered for the upcoming 2022 elections.

Barbie posted two photos and a clip: One photo showing her thumb, another one of her waiting in line alongside other registrants, and a short clip of her affixing her thumb marks on the required paperwork.

The actress also revealed that she had been waiting in line since four in the morning, underscoring how intent she was to get registered and be able to vote in the upcoming elections.

She also encouraged her followers to register as well, writing “Kayo rin! Pwede pa pong humabol sa pagpaparehistro para makaboto!”

Barbie is just the latest celebrity to perform their civic duty.

Pauleen Luna also shared her experience waiting in line at a COMELEC registration center, writing on her Instagram story that she had been waiting in line since 7:10 in the morning and only being able to get a seat at around 9:23.

John Vic de Guzman, on the other hand, called on his Instagram followers to register and vote.
